I’ve been doing all of the above for the past month now. Accepting an offer for a recent assignment, see’s me commute to work every day for over an hour! (Remind me why I do this to myself!) Lot’s of people commute to and from work everyday and it’s hard to look flawless and well-put-together while doing it. (Believe me I’ve tried).
By the time I’ve power-walked my way to my destination, I’m normally:
a) Pushed for time
b) Glowing from head-to-toe (that’s not happiness dah-ling just sheer sweat) and…
c) Reaching for the Dove deodorant spray!
‘Well, why don’t you just go home and change?’ I hear you say. My response would be that it’s not always possible to make the pilgrimage all the way back home before you venture forth into the night!!!
Aside from a quick freshening up, you’ll also need something to throw on, for switching up your look while you’re on the move!

So those are the tops that made it into my ‘pop in your handbag list’.
I guess the moral of the story here is… don’t just throw any old thing in your bag! Try and optimise them by teaming these pieces with what you already have on. This way you’ll get it right for every occasion. My favourite item has to be the Heart Print Boxy. It’s perfect for work and would be perfect for an early evening outfit as well. Sadly, my local George at ASDA didn’t actually have my size – so I decided to pull this face in disappointment! he he
